Obituary for Henry Jennings Bragg, Jr. Henry Jennings Bragg, Jr., 82, of Plymouth, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville surrounded by his loving family. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 16th 2023 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Henry Jennings (died possibly 1745) was an 18th-century English privateer from the colony of Bermuda, who served primarily during the War of the Spanish Succession and later served as leader of the pirate haven or "republic" of New Providence .
