The Kiski School (formerly the Kiskiminetas Springs School and often known simply as Kiski or Kiski Prep) is an independent, all-boys college-preparatory boarding school in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, United States.The school, named after the nearby Kiskiminetas River, is located about 30 miles (48 km) east by north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Founded in 1888, Kiski is the oldest remaining non . As a senior, Mr. Mahla placed second in the discus event by a foot at the Independent Prep School League Championship, and won the javelin event. In doing so, that 400-yard freestyle relay team set school, pool, and league records of 3:20.48. That record, set in 1948 by Albert Schwartz, was 33 years old when Mr. Mahla first captured it during the 1981 season. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned a degree in teaching and spent four years on several of its sports teams, Bridenbaugh coached football at several places in his home state of Pennsylvania prior to being selected as the head coach of the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes . The 1966 Football Team finished 6-0-1, falling victim only to dusk. They won both the Independent Prep School League (IPSL) Relay and Championship meets. Following college, Mr. Garland embarked on a successful triathlon career. Individually, Mr. Barrios Cedeo set school records and earned All-American status in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events. Mr. Barrios Cedeo also represented Panama in several international competitions. Many National Press sports writers considered Marks Sr. the most successful high school coach in the United States during those two decades. Mr. Weaver continued his stellar soccer career at James Madison University. The 1978 team won the Interstate Prep School League championship, going undefeated in league play, using a strong work ethic, team first attitude, and an unwavering devotion to one another.
